Israel-Palestine conflict dates back long time back in the history. In this article, I have written completely about the Israel-Palestine conflict.

History:-

The region between the Mediterranean and the Dead Sea was part of the Turkish empire till the World War I. When the Turkish empire lost the war the British decided to divide the Turk empire and the region between the Mediterranean and the Dead Sea was taken over by the British in 1920 to rule. It remained under British rule till 1948. During these years the Arabs( Palestinians) and the Jews(Israeli) stayed together but time to time conflicts arose between them over Jerusalem and other matters; killing hundreds of Arabs and Jews.

Division of Palestine into Israel and Palestine:-

In 1948, the UN divided the then governed region between the Mediterranean and the Dead Sea into two parts.

- Palestine :-

       The region for Arabs.

- Israel :-

       The region for Jews.

Arab-Israel War:-

The Arab Israel War started in 1948 and ended in 1949. Jordan took over the West Bank and Egypt took over the west Bank. The Arabs didn't recognize Israel at that time. Israel captured parts of Palestine.

Six Day War in 1967:-

In 1967, the six day war between Israel and the Arabs resulted in the capturing of Gaza and West Bank.

 Oslo Accords in 1993:-

In 1993, a set of agreements was signed between the Palestine Liberation Organization and Israeli Government. The accord was about to bring peace in the region but they failed.

Arafat Death in 2004:-

In 2004, Yasser Arafat died. He was the peace talker for Palestine and the then leader of Palestine.

Hamas win in 2006:-

In the elections of 2006, Hamas won the legislative elections of Palestine.

Operation Cast Lead:-

In 2008, Israel launched an operation into Gaza and named it Operation Cast Lead. 

War in 2012:-

Israeli Armed Forces killed a Hamas Leader, war started between Israel and Hamas killing more than 200 Palestinians.

War in 2014:-

In 2014, Israel declared Operation Protective Edge, killing more than 400 Palestinians including children and women.

Between the mentioned years Israel and Palestine continued attacks on each other. Israel used modern technology and power against Palestinians which resulted in the death of thousands of Palestinians including children and women. Israel even used chemical weapons on Palestinians. Israel is backed by US. 

Israel's missile defense system -- Iron Dome -- Missile defense system of Israel.

One of the world's most newest and sophisticated technologies is Israel's missile defense system. It is named
 as Iron Dome, like an iron shield protecting the whole country.

How it works?

When a rocket is fired into Israel, the radar system detects the missile, it then activates the missile launching system and then missiles are launched into the air to intercept the incoming rocket (This all together is known as a "Battery"). Range of Israel's missile defense system is about 70 km.

Why was it developed?

The Israel - Hezbollah war in northern Israel in 2006, in which many rockets were fired into Northern Israel by Hezbollah, Israel met serious damage so they decided to develop a missile system to protect the country against these rocket attacks.

Funding:-

The Israel's missile defense system or Iron Dome was funded by America. It came into operation in 2011. It comes in handy in the recent Israel-Hamas conflict named as "Operation Protective Edge".  

 

Latest news from Gaza - Death toll in Gaza - Israeli soldiers killed

During many days of fight between Israel and Hamas in Gaza strip, more than 500 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza which include Children and Women. Recently an attack on a hospital by Israel killed a family.

U.N says that the majority are Civilians in the Palestine.

The death toll in Israel is much lesser, 17 killed including 15 soldiers and 2 civilians.

Israeli officials have claimed that the objective of their mission is to destroy the Hamas tunnels and stop rocket attacks on Israel but so far they have been unable to achieve their goals. Here is a video showing tunnels in Gaza and their destruction by Israel Defense Force.

The news agencies say that among the Israeli soldiers are fighting American-Israeli soldiers. This raises many questions about IDF and American involvement in Gaza.


Hamas has denied the ceasefire so far and has demanded the opening of border and Gaza port.

Israel has ordered ground offense into Gaza. Airstrikes continued in the city of Shaja'ia. The airstrikes and gunships killed more than 40 people overnight on Sunday, they included children too. The residents are fleeing the town of Shaja'ia. Bodies of civilians lie on the street as the shelling continues. Here is a video link of a child injured severely by the airstrikes.

The war between Hamas and Israel intensifies, the war has killed more than 400 Palestinians including more women and children altogether than men. More than 40% of Gaza's population is 14 years old and round about. Israel has ordered the civilians to flee from Gaza but where are they to go. Hamas has refused Egypt's proposal to reach a cease fire with Israel. Civilians have taken refugee in U.N schools where the schools are jam-packed with men,women and children.

Gaza at this moment needs the international community to stand up for them. The whole world is condemning the Israel's killing young children. Thousands of protesters gathered in London on Saturday, holding banners reading "Stop killings in Gaza", " PEACE" and "Free Palestine". Protesters also gathered in Paris in support of Gaza and Palestine. Later on they clashed with police and tear gas was fired. Here are the images.

Shab-e-Qadr -- Lailat-ul-Qadr -- Surah-e-Qadr

-Hazrat Aisha (R.A) said that Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) said :-

             "Look for Lait-ul-Qadr in the odd days of last ten days of Ramadan."

-Hazrat Aisha (R.A) said that :-

"I asked Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) that what should I do if I find Lailat-ul-Qadr"

Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) replied :-

"Recite this dua: 

          Allah Humma Innaka A'fuvun Tokhib Bul Afva Fafu Anee

                          اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي "

What is Lailat-ul-Qadr?

Lailat-ul-Qadr was the night when the Quran-e-Hakim was transferred from Loh-e-Mehfooz into the earth.

إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْر

وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ 

لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ 

تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ 

سَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّى مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ

Innaa Anzalnaahu Fiy Laylatil Qadr

          Wa Maa Adraaka Maa Laylatul Qadr 

        Laylatul Qadri Khayrum Min Alfi Shahr

In Surah-e-Qadr  ALLAH says that this was the night when Quran was revealed. This night is better than thousand nights. On this night all the angels and Jibrael (A.S) descend to the earth.

Reason of getting Lialat-ul-Qadr:-

Imam Malik (R.A) says that when Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) looked at the ages of previous Ummats, he found out that the life time of his Ummat was very less. He thought that the life time of his Ummat is very less therefore, their virtues and good deeds will be less than other Ummats. In return of this thought ALLAH gave us the night of Qadr.

Israel has urged one million Palestinians to evacuate their homes and get out of Gaza but where are they to go??

As per the geography of Gaza Strip, it is surrounded by Israel on one side and by Egypt and Mediterranean Sea on the other. The Egypt has closed its borders on the Palestinians and they can't make their way into Israel. So, the only place for them is to stay in Palestine and face the airstrikes.

Raiwind Terrorist Killed.

During an operation in a house in Raiwind (Lahore) a terrorist and an Elite Force Officer has been killed. The house was suspected of hiding terrorists so the Rangers and Elite Force raided the house around 2 a.m on Thursday. When the forces knocked the door they were met by heavy fire from the inside. The Officials said that heavy arms were used. This killed an Elite force officer. One of the two terrorists was caught injured and later on moved to a secret location.

The forces also say that they ere planning to attack the P.M house, which is about 2.5 KM from there.

The force was stopped by a suspicion of hostages but later on it came out to be wrong. The terrorists were also asked to surrender but they didn't. IDES were also placed around the house.

Background:-

Pakistan has been suffering from Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), a terrorist and extremist group operating in the Tribal Areas of Pakistan. Thousands of innocent citizens have died due to suicide attacks and infrastructure of millions of  dollars has been destroyed by organized attacks on Government institutions. When PML(N) formed their Government in the centre, P.M Nawaz Sharif announced peace talks with the Taliban to stop terrorism in Pakistan. As a result peace dialogue started in Pakistan between the Government and the TTP nominated representatives. The peace talk failed when the TTP altogether with Islamic movement of Uzbekistan attacked the Karachi Airport on 8th of June, 2014. The Government took the decision to start an operation in North Waziristan to take out militants. On 15th of June the operation started when the Pakistan Air Force Jets took down hideouts of militants in Datta Khel, NW.

Zarb-e-Azb:-

Pakistan Army named the operation in the North Waziristan as Zarb-e-Azb. Azb was the sword of Prophet Hazarat Muhammad (S.A.W) which he used in Ghazwa-e-Badr. 

The Pakistani Government has urged on the Afghanistan Officials to close the border linking NW, so that the terrorist can't flee into Afghanistan. The Afghani Officials have agreed on sealing the border and Pakistan is looking forward for their co-operation.

June-16-  8 soldiers shaheed. 

June-23- 4 soldiers shaheed.

June-24- 2 soldiers shaheed.

July-4- 1 soldier shaheed.

July-15- 3 soldiers killed.

Total army casualties around 20.

Terrorists Killed:-

June-15- 140 terrorists killed.

June-16- 41 terrorists killed.

June-17- 28 terrorists killed.

June-20- 12 terrorists killed.

June-21- 50 terrorists killed.

June-23- 35 terrorists killed.

June-24- 47 terrorists killed.

June-27- 18 terrorists killed.

July-5- 20+ terrorist killed.

July-12- 13 terrorist killed.

July-15- 11 terrorists killed.

July-16- 35 terrorists killed.

More than 400 terrorists have been killed so far.

More than 0.3 million people have been displaced. IDP camps have been established at various places throughout Pakistan.

14th of August,2014 - Azadi March by Imran Khan (Leader PTI) - Long March

Azadi March, 14th August 2014.

On 27th of June 2014 , Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Khan held a grand Jalsa. While addressing the people he talked about various political issues including Election rigging, IDP's issue, Lahore incident, load shedding, price hike, Israel's violence and other political issues in Pakistan. He criticized Nawaz Sharif (P.M Islamic Republic of Pakistan) and put some demand in front of him.

He gave the P.M (Chairman Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz) an ultimatum of one month to meet his demands.
 The demands were:-

1- Who is responsible for the victory speech before the official election results were announced?

Note:- Elections were held in Pakistan on 11th of May, 2013. PML(N) formed the Government in the center.

2- Why weren't there Returning Officers in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and what was the role of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary in the nomination of Returning Officers?

3- What was the role of Care Taker Government in Election Rigging?

4- Who was responsible for manipulating the election result lists?

5- Who denied the votes in 35 constituencies?


Imran Khan also said that if the government is unable to meet the demands in a month, then Tehrik-e-Insaaf will organize a Long March in Islamabad on 14th of August. This long march was named as Tsunami March firstly  then it was changed to "Azadi March" recently.



Imran Khan has been doing many press conferences regarding his demands and Azadi March. In which he has been denying the results of Election 2013 in Pakistan. Imran Khan claims that he'll gather near a million people in the capital.


The Government of  Pakistan has been unresponsive about Imran Khan's demands. Time awaits that whether PML (N) will bow down in front of PTI and will accept their demands and will order a complete judicial inquiry about election rigging.


So far it seems that PTI will have to gather its followers in the capital and will have to sit there untill PML (N) and PTI agree on some accord.

The major role that determines PML(N) reactions in Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT), which is led by Tahir ul Qadri. PAT has already gathered all of their power and have made alliances with other political parties of Pakistan against PML(N). This is all in reaction to the Lahore incident where Punjab Police killed PAT followers and workers.
